Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual with a growth mindset to develop the marketing strategy and its execution for a suite of software products. This role will focus on harmonizing the value proposition across multiple products, addressing the needs of key stakeholders such as system integrators, facility managers, and application developers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of transforming marketing within large organizations, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to create high-quality, impactful content. This position will be the driving force behind defining the future of our combined offerings, crafting compelling narratives, and orchestrating go-to-market strategies that capture market share and establish our leadership in smart building solutions. The position requires strong communication, influencing and analytic skills, technical and business acumen, relationship development skills and a motivational style. Collaboration and partnering within Schneider Electric's global organization and across teams is critical for success.

Primary Responsibilities

Internal Collaboration with Offer Managers
  • Value Proposition Development: Partner with product and offer managers to define and harmonize the value proposition across the software product suite, aligning customer and market trends with business objectives.
  • Portfolio Positioning: Lead the development of a unified messaging framework that integrates the strengths of individual products into a cohesive narrative for the market.
  • Market Insights and Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the market by gathering insights from customers, competitors, and industry trends, and translating them into actionable recommendations for product teams.
  • Animate User Groups: Develop strategy and animation plan to engage various user-groups: progressive facility leaders, key system integrators and application developers; to improve feedback and feedforward communication

Market-Facing Leadership
  • Thought Leadership and Industry Positioning: Develop and promote thought leadership content, including white papers, blogs, and presentations, to establish the company as a trusted authority in the market.
  • Analyst Relations: Lead engagement with industry analysts to position the company's solutions as market leaders and secure recognition in key reports and rankings.
  • Customer Success Stories: Oversee the creation of impactful case studies and success stories that highlight the value and ROI of the company's solutions.
  • Event Strategy and Execution: Drive the strategy and execution of high-profile events, including trade shows, webinars, and industry conferences, to showcase the company's solutions and engage with target audiences.

Collaboration with Country Teams and Marketing Communications
  • Global Marketing Strategy Alignment: Work closely with country marketing teams and global marcom teams to ensure alignment of messaging, campaigns, and demand generation strategies across regions.
  • Campaign Development and Execution: Provide strategic guidance and support to country teams in executing localized campaigns that drive demand and generate leads.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with marcom teams to create high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital assets, tailored to regional needs.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide actionable insights to country and marcom teams.


Desired skills and competencies
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on software products and systems business.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in the building industry or equivalent in industrial automation.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can identify and seize new opportunities.
  • Proven ability to work within large organizations, collaborating across teams & functions to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, impactful marketing content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Strategic thinking & planning skills, to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent at written & verbal communication, with ability to convey complex ideas in a clear & compelling manner.
  • Experience planning and executing successful events, including trade shows and webinars.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform marketing strategies.
