Summary:

  • The EcoStruxure Foxboro DCS offer is undergoing a major transformation to reduce complexity, increase competitiveness, update the underlying technology, and address technical debts. With 7% global market share, Foxboro DCS needs a strong injection of innovation and creative thinking.
  • As an Offer Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with Schneider Electric's commercial and technical teams to execute assigned initiatives and drive customer value, improve offer positioning, increase market share, and implement programs that are delivering accelerated sales growth.
  • The successful candidate must have the ability to grasp technology bricks and features of the offer, understand the underlying building blocks and work intensely with Technology Integration, R&D, Delivery, Tendering, Incubator, I&T, IA LoB, Segments, and other Schneider Electric teams on driving the technology further. He/she will determine unmet market needs, especially around industry specific applications that can differentiate and accelerate growth around DCS offers, and define and develop strategic requirements including new offers, architecture, and software applications.

What will you do?

For your assigned offers:
  • Clearly understand market opportunities and unmet customer needs, through various means such as voice of customer sessions as well as internal discovery with sales/delivery teams and translate them into product requirements.
  • Support internal content generation, including Offer Strategy Documents, Market Requirements Documents and ROI value calculations/Onyx for offer business justification.
  • Collaborate with R&D throughout the offer lifecycle to support requirements clarification, technical assessments, project scoping, and track the development through product release to ensure business plan goals are met.
  • Stay current on technology and trends through indirect channels such as international industry committees, conferences, and workgroups.
  • Support the development of offer Product Roadmap strategy, direction, prioritization, and presentation.
  • Support development of business case for strategic initiatives and drive implementation of selected strategies.
  • Support the development of annual budget requests.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing on product manufacturing / delivery issues.
  • When assigned, collaborate with AVEVA and other Schneider Business units in transversal activities.
  • Participate in periodic project/program reviews.

  • In-depth knowledge of market and industry trends driving next-gen process automation technology.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail as needed.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders in a matrix environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage overlapping projects, time, and stakeholders effectively.
