The New Energy Landscape Leader is a visionary leader to drive our new energy initiatives across East Asia. This role will focus on shaping and implementing strategies that accelerates energy transition, foster strategic partnerships, and navigate the evolving energy landscape in the region.
The New Energy Landscape Leader is responsible for incubating and developing new energy landscape business with high growth. The job holder is accountable to strategizing new energy landscape in East Asia, creating strategic partnership and developing c-level relationship in the ecosystem. Internally, New Energy Landscape Leader needs to effectively activate multiple functional & business stakeholders and sales functions to operationalize the strategy.

To succeed in this role, the New Energy Landscape Leader will leverage their expertise in C-level selling, strategic thinking, and established networks within the ecosystem. A strong understanding of our offerings and dynamic market intelligence across various geographies will be essential to drive business growth in the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for new energy business in East Asia, engaging with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and country teams
- Analyze market trends and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities and lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative solution and business model.
- Evolve the new energy landscape strategy to remain market-relevant, identify exponential growth areas, and execute a three-year strategic plan.
Business Leadership:
- Drive the overall sales performance of the New Energy Landscape and ensure the SE portfolio stands out in the market.
- Build strong relationships with executives in the ecosystem to discover new disruptive growth opportunities.
Talent Development:
- Lead and develop the New Energy Landscape teams across countries, fostering talent to align with current and future business needs.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture, coach cross-functional teams to meet performance standards, and ensure effective talent management initiatives for knowledge transfer and upskilling across multiple geographies
The successful candidate will have seasoned Executive with strong track record in business incubation from a related industry. Candidate demonstrates the ability to identify and communicate organic and inorganic growth opportunities, excellent value creator and consultative seller, multi-culture experience in East Asia region, and superior influencing and stakeholder management skills. He/she will have strong management capabilities, will be an independent thinker with a strong work ethic, be accustomed to working in a fast-changing, complex and ambiguous environment. He/she will be a structured, organized individual who is capable of successfully handling multiple tasks.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
The ideal candidate shall meet or exceed the following qualifications:
- Over 10 years of strategic business development experience in leading industries, focusing on e-mobility, renewables, and energy transition.
- Strong personal leadership aligned with Schneider Electric values and a multi-year strategic planning mindset.
- Expertise in consultative and C-level selling, with a proven track record in business incubation and complex strategy implementation.
- Results-driven with experience in strategy, including market segmentation and value proposition development.
- Skilled in both direct and influence-based management, with a collaborative, team-oriented leadership style.
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to convey a compelling business vision and excellent analytical skills.
- Proven organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a strong work ethic and emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with C-level customers and a commitment to integrity and professionalism.
