About the opportunity:
Our Supply Chain Planning team are currently seeking Network Supply Planner for a permanent position to be based at either our Distribution Centre, Gepps Cross SA or SMART office in Macquarie Park, NSW.
The Network Supply Planner position is a combination of supply planning operations, continuous improvement, and project management.
The team is responsible for the supply planning activities of finished goods in the Pacific Zone and a key focus of this role is exploring and identifying issues and opportunities within planning including supply, sales inventory, and operational process.
Reporting to the S&OP and Supply Planning Manager, Pacific, the Network Supply Planner will play a pivotal role in profitability of the business unit portfolio and its growth ambitions in the Pacific region.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to profitable growth by optimizing service levels, inventory, and profit
- Improve the Supply Planning and Sales Inventory and Operations Process (SIOP) for the PACIFIC region, ensuring a business-oriented and customer-centric approach
- Leverage digital capabilities to enhance productivity, reliability, and service. Implement smart touch planning to streamline operations, drive innovation, and promote cross-functional collaboration
- Develop strategies that balance cash flow, service levels, and costs for Finished Goods
- Collaborate closely with the business to optimize cash generation while ensuring service and growth
- Develop and maintain strong collaboration with Sales and Marketing Managers, Customer Care and Experience (CCE), Customer Experience and Quality (CX&Q), logistics, and transport teams to ensure excellence in delivery performance
About you:
You will have 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain within a large complex multi-site and highly regulated organisation.
You will be able to apply project management principles to your approach to continuous improvement and your technical skill is supported by a Tertiary qualification in Operations, Supply Chain Management or Logistics. Master's degree or above in Engineering is preferred.
Key skills and experience:
- Advanced analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to manage large amounts of data
- Proficient in the advanced usage of Excel and analytical data tools including Power Query, Tableau and Alteryx will be ideally placed
- Experience in ERP supply chain modules - knowledge of SAP and MRP modules
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups and strong commercial acumen
- A growth mindset through well-developed digital skills and a technical aptitude
- Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to a customer centric approach
