Mission and responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced mobile app Xamarin.Forms / .NET MAUI developer with commercial development experience to help drive our business to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the creation of world-class mobile UX/UI in the Internet of Things space. Working closely with members of the product development team (product management, firmware, cloud services, electronics, mechanical and systems design), you will play a leading role in developing mobile applications that are the face of Schneider's smart home and residential energy management solutions.

Your main responsibilities:
Development Responsibilities
- Design and develop .NET MAUI applications
- Minimise complexity in all development by the application of careful analysis and proven software engineering principles
- Apply a mixture of BDD and edge-case exploration to author effective automated unit tests
- Design and implement continuous integration (specifically build, deployment and test) in order to maintain consistent delivery to specification and quality.
- Where appropriate produce concise, high quality documentation to provide overall context and explanations for complex areas of code
QA
- Work with the test manager, other internal stakeholders and cloud service providers to define and/or validate cloud service requirements, and verify their correct implementation
Collaboration
- Help identify and work with third-party solution providers, infrastructure providers, cloud application services that can help enrich the Smart Home proposition
- Participate in the agile process, including backlog refinement, driving completion of sprint goals, and continuous improvement of the process
- Work with Systems Engineering, UX, Cloud and Firmware Development teams to create scalable end-to-end solutions that drives the company's business forward
Service Operations
- Assist the service operations manager in the timely, customer-focused resolution of service incidents
- Proactively engage with internal stakeholders and cloud service providers to ensure appropriate diagnostics and analytics are in place to support operations and product development
About you:
Essential
- Experience working with, designing and implementing Xamarin.Forms apps for both Android and iOS. Training for .NET Maui will be provided
- A comprehensive understand of the Xamarin framework, including best practices, known limitations, and workarounds for common problems.
- Git or other version control experience
- Agile development methodologies
- Skilled at building clean, maintainable code
- Passion for product development and innovation
- Takes responsibility for and proactively drives work packages to completion
- Passionate about technology and its application to smart home automation
- Likes to learn about new technology
- Customer focused
- Good team player and communicator
