JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team at Qmerit . In this role, you will work closely with our engineering teams in an agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for developing and executing both manual and automated test cases, with a strong emphasis on mobile testing using BrowserStack . Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, and proficiency in JavaScript is highly preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to review requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Utilize BrowserStack to perform mobile testing across multiple devices and platforms.
- Document test results, log defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Integrate testing processes within CI/CD pipelines and assist in the continuous improvement of automation frameworks (with a focus on JavaScript).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing clear and concise status updates and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the overall QA strategy by identifying potential risks and proposing innovative testing solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- Experience using BrowserStack for mobile testing is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Familiarity with performance, security, or API testing practices.
- Prior experience working in fast-paced, dynamic teams, driving quality in a collaborative environment.
