Currently we are looking for a Methods Engineer.

Mission:

Ensuring the continuous optimization of the logistic processes present within the distribution center through the implementation of improvement projects focused on the efficiency of the departments. Central reference of the site for the development and implementation of digital tools aimed at improving and facilitating the performance of work activities. Administer the flow of goods and update the main product database, in line with the product lifecycle (ABCFMR). Ensure the reliability of the data controlled through the IT system used by the various distribution centers: ensure its integrity, compatibility and consistency. Launch, with the use of appropriate indicators, a system of data managers based on the quality of the information received. Ensure the interaction between IPO and DC to support the Information Management System.

What will you do?

  • Implement adaptation on the existing processes by improving the logistic performances, in manual and automatic process using SPS techniques and tools;
  • Involved in the specification and quotation of new line architectures and industrials scenarios in order to meet Safety/Quality/Lead Times and productivity requirements;
  • Plant Master Data of the DC: management of specific code in terms of weight, dimensions and EAN;
  • Implementation of capacity analysis for warehouse flows
  • Study feasibility & profitability of investments adapted to the needs;
  • Define the rules based on the main data management.
  • To manage the problems concerning the communication through the different IT systems.
  • Create and manage indicators that ensure efficient data quality.
  • Manage the organization in case of accidents, problems or requests to change the flow of products.
  • To help keep users' skills efficient.
  • Prepare , with the operation Warehouse process engineer, the integration of new products
  • Manage projects in term of logistic, industrialization, or IT System
  • Responsible for storage capacity and strategy
  • Define KPIs to follow Service level of suppliers and plants regarding incoming flows


What will help you to be successful?

  • Excellent relationships and communication skills both with the same level and with the working-class population;
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Methods Department;
  • Having worked in a logistics center will be considered a plus;
  • Passionate for digital tools, IT field but also for the operations;
  • Innovation mindset and change management aptitude
  • Ability to build winning and lasting relations over time;
  • Customer First Orientation through a consulting approach and mindset;
  • Knowledge of the main office software and information systems;
  • Mindset to quickly learn the SE commercial Offer for products and applications
