About the Role:

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our Cooling Sustaining Engineering Team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and update of mechanical components for our cooling machines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure innovative and high quality solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD software, and a collaborative attitude to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design: Create and modify 3D/2D models and bills of materials for mechanical components using CAD software (preferably Solid Edge or similar).

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with electrical designers to integrate shared systems (e.g., electrical panel placement and cable routing).
Project Management: Solve field issues ("Warm Loop"), support product innovation, and manage obsolescence ("Cold Loop").
Cross-Department Interaction: Collaborate with procurement, quality, industrialization, and the Research Center to maximize design quality.
Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify optimal development actions to improve processes and products.
Travel: Availability for national and international travel to support design and service activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Experience, even brief, in mechanical design for industrial machines (preference for HVAC systems).
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in mechanical CAD software (preferably Solid Edge) and familiarity with PLM and PDM systems (preferred).
Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of refrigeration machines is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with a problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
Languages: Basic knowledge of English is preferred.

Requirements:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education (preferred).
Analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information to tackle complex projects.
Strong interest in innovative design and attention to detail.
