What will you do?
- Oversee the electroplating process, ensuring that metal parts meet stringent quality standards.
- Deploy electroplating equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct studies on plating solutions, chemicals, and materials to guarantee optimal coating quality.
- Perform regular tests and assessments to maintain high-quality coatings.
- Maintain accurate records of all plating processes, including solution compositions and usage.
- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize process efficiency and troubleshoot any issues.
- Provide expert guidance on chemical processes and safety best practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and submit necessary reports.
- Direct production operations to optimize workflow and minimize waste.

Who will you report to? Parts Advanced Manufacturing Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for growth and learning in a cross-functional role. You will be directly responsible for the development of new technologies related to metal finishing, and you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact within our organization and the industry.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in enginering, chemistry or a related field is required, Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in metal plating processes.
- Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques, including spectrometry and chromatography (a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of chemistry as it applies to plating processes.
- Project management experience is recommended.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to relocate and travel internationally as needed.
- Proficiency in safety engineering with exposure to electrical safety.
