We are seeking for MEA Trade & Customs Senior Manager to join the team in Dubai.

Your Role - Magic happens when you bring great people together!

  • FTA Compliance : Ensuring compliance with regional FTAs and trade agreements by understanding and interpreting complex trade regulations and rules of origin.
  • Strategic Planning : Developing and implementing strategies to maximize FTA benefits, reduce trade barriers, devise localization strategy (Made In Benefits), and optimize supply chain efficiencies.
  • Strategic Advisor : Conducting in-depth analysis of regional FTAs to identify opportunities for duty savings, preferential tariff treatments, and other trade benefits for the company, including local manufacturing / ICV (In-Country Value Addition) / Local value addition.
  • Guidance and Training : Providing guidance and training to internal teams on leveraging FTA benefits, including rules of origin, documentation requirements, and compliance procedures.
  • Control : Conducting regular internal audits and assessments to identify and address areas of non-compliance.
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborating with government agencies, customs authorities, and external partners to address FTA-related issues / localization policy (Made In), and ensure compliance with local and regional requirements.
  • Monitoring and Reporting : Monitoring changes in FTA regulations, trade policies, and market conditions, and providing regular reports and updates to relevant stakeholders, and advising the company on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

Education
  • Master's in international business / Specialized in Trade & Customs Compliance

Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with 'Big4' Consulting Companies (Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG)
  • With at least 5 years at managerial level, handling Trade & Compliance projects inside MEA region.
  • Specialized in Gulf & KSA Customs & Trade Compliance
  • Fluent in English
  • French language will be valuable

Skills requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
