Position: Master Database Supply Chain Specialist
Place of work: Dunavecse (90 km of Budapest)
Scope:
As a Master Database Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting operational procurement by acting as a bridge between various departments, including buyers, project managers and engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, optimizing item master data, and ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement system.
Your responsibilities:
Operational Procurement:
- Serve as the primary liaison between operational procurement, buyers, project managers, and engineering teams.
- Identify and resolve issues within the procurement system to ensure clarity and efficiency.
Supplier Management:
- Clarify requirements and conduct searches for new suppliers as necessary.
- Communicate with suppliers and manage urgent procurement needs.
New Product Integration:
- Integrate new products (e.g., RMairset, Okken) into the system.
- Supplier definition for new references
Data Management:
- Ensure data quality in terms of integrity, compatibility, and consistency.
- Manage data owners and processes to maintain data quality:
- Initialize material info records and Engineering Change Notification Process.
- Coordinate tasks among different actors managing product and component evolutions, and change request flows.
- Manage data archiving and removal corresponding to product life cycles.
- Drive data cleansing for new system implementations.
- Define rules for managing master databases.
Data Optimization:
- Optimize item master data.
- Collaborate with teams to develop data optimization strategies.
- Ensure proper system settings and eliminate duplications.
- Conduct weekly meetings with Category Buyers to discuss new reference files.
Request Management:
- Delete unnecessary procurement requests to maintain system efficiency.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience, particularly in procurement
- Expertise in SAP
- Proficiency in English
- Relevant studies preferred: procurement, supply chain management, sourcing
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with an operational and dynamic approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish effective connections with the stakeholders and suppliers
- Prior experience in an electronics company is nice to have
- Expertise in drawing and technical drawings is an advantage
