Marketing Communications Leader, Power Systems

Role mission

This role is integral to the NAM Hub within the Power Systems (PS) Division, focusing on developing and executing a comprehensive marketing communication strategy. The mission is to ensure alignment with both Power Systems and NAM Hub business priorities, driving the success of marketing communication initiatives and campaigns across the region, in collaboration with the operation marketing communication team.

Main responsibilities

  • Work in proximity with Line of Business (LoB), commercial (launch+ category managers) teams, for cohesive messaging on Unique Value Proposition (UVP) and enhanced efficiency.
  • Develop product launch strategy and plan with league leaders, category leaders, global strategic marketing, and regional field marketing stakeholders to deliver compelling launches for hero, strategic and major offers in the regions.
  • Alignment with PS division strategies to manage marketing activities closer to target markets for better local insights, competition analysis, and benchmarking, leading to tailored campaigns & thought-leadership.
  • Develop localized campaigns in collaboration with country teams, supported by PS division analytics and martech tools to tailor strategies, increase awareness of PS portfolio (AirSeTs & key offers) and core segments storytelling, and drive outreach and lead generation.
  • Position SE as the thought leader in the Medium Voltage market, and close engagement with key opinion leaders including association bodies and market analysts.
  • Utilize KPI dashboards, marketing metrics, and management tools to track and evaluate performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Collect and interpret customer insights to develop marketing communication strategies that effectively engage and resonate with target audiences.
  • Engage a local marketing agency to expedite the creation and deployment of marketing collaterals, ensuring a quicker time to market.

Skills with proficiency level and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, communication, or management; Master's or MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B product vertical marketing, sales, and/or strategy
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to build cross-cultural project teams
  • Ability to work in multifunctional and multicultural teams
  • Strong customer focus and business acumen, with knowledge of current market trends in medium voltage electrical distribution
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and an international mindset, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and matrixed environments
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • Curious, open mindset and attitude, demonstrating strong initiative and eagerness to take ownership
  • Proven track record of developing innovative and disruptive programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
