Schneider Electric offers an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our our team in El Paso, TX. This person will be responsible for implementing Lean and Six Sigma concepts, developing manufacturing PFMEAs, monitoring key metrics, and leading continual improvement activities. Join us in driving quality excellence and innovation.
What will you do?
- Implement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and other functional departments.
- Develop manufacturing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and identify opportunities for improving tooling and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest methods and technologies, and assess their relevance within our manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Monitor and report key metrics, and devise improvement plans.
- Participate in and lead continual improvement activities such as 5S, SPS, Six Sigma, and ISO to enhance the quality system.
- Ensure timely completion of action items from SPS and ISO audits.
- Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems.
- Contribute to and lead Digital Quality implementation within the plant.
- Prepare Pareto charts and 8D reports as necessary.
- Contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals through project and process implementation.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, Six Sigma tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design is desired.
- Strong background in Quality, Industrial, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
