Job Title - Operative
Location - Leeds (UK); ETO business

Are you our next Operative? Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our well-established team as an Operative.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Responsible for the strict application of standardized processes in manufacturing / production processes across a broad scope including for example some basic maintenance processes.
  • Strong contributor to continuous improvement.


What are your key responsibilities in the role?
  • Demonstrate a number of competencies within relevant cells to support the changing needs of the customer
  • Apply procedures detailed within the appropriate assembly instructions and specifications
  • Record issues affecting the daily short interval management (SIM) objectives
  • Comply with the Quality, Environmental Management systems, Health & Safety Policy and Housekeeping 5S process
  • Complete standard tests and inspection against quality standards
  • Suggest proposals to improve the working procedures and cells
  • Identify and express to the team leader any risks regarding health and safety, quality and environment, including all incidents and near misses
  • All lost time in production is known and recorded
  • This role might be for you if?
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
  • Provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK
  • English fluency is a must
