Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Internship in Seneca, South Carolina for Spring 2025. This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What will you do?
- Research, design, and implement manufacturing equipment (fixtures, tools, machines)
- Product/component simplification and standardization which included analysis of existing components, research on alternatives and design of new component layouts
- Investigate, evaluate, document, and optimize existing manufacturing processes
- Specializes in several areas of knowledge regarding production / manufacturing processes: process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, and cost analysis
- Strongly contributes to / leads continuous improvement actions
- Assist in key engineering projects which include making line observations for value addition and non-value addition, measure the cycle time and lead time of processes.
- Assist in anticipated Production Line upgrades leading to capacity improvement and efficiency.
- Assist projects related to reducing quality defects.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Currently enrolled in a four-year university program
- Preferred field of study include Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- Comfortable using digital tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, ERP, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Organized and able to handle multiple demands and assignments in parallel, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Open to learning about Quality and the world of manufacturing
- develop innovative solutions.
