Description of the Position

The Manufacturing Engineering Team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to play a role in digitalization of industrial processes and procedures in an electronics manufacturing environment. You will support solutions already put in place while developing and documenting new solutions in line with Schneider's objectives and targets. You will have the opportunity to improve production quality and efficiency with different IIoT tools.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Test sets upgrade and commissioning activities
  • Support continuous improvement on digitized process
  • Reports test results to engineering and management where appropriate
  • Completes test specifications and test procedures for new solutions
  • Collaborate with the Quality department to monitor effectiveness of test process and test-systems
  • Drive continuous Improvement

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

This job might be for you if you:
  • Are an electrical or mechanical engineering student
  • Have knowledge of manufacturing equipment
  • Have experience with LabView / VBA / Sharepoint / T SQL / Oracle /AutoCAD
  • Have experience de-bugging and troubleshooting
  • Have good documentation skills
  • Have experience writing test plans, test specification and test procedures
  • Have an understanding of programming languages (SQL/Node-RED/XML/CSS/HTML).
  • Have basic knowledge of cloud computing technologies and possibilities.
  • Are curious about new technologies and IoT
