Production Engineer/Technician - Focus on Layout, Ergonomic Assembly and Time Management

We are looking for a Production Engineer/Technician to join our methods team. If you have a passion for process optimization, ergonomic design, and time management, this is the right opportunity for you!

The work:

  • Evaluate and define manufacturing processes: You will analyze and define manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
  • Identifying the necessary equipment: You will select and define the most suitable equipment for manufacturing, based on production needs.
  • Manufacturing Documentation Preparation: You will draft technical documentation from project data and construction drawings, ensuring the effectiveness and clarity of the information.
  • Technical Interface Between Manufacturing and Design: You will act as a bridge between manufacturing and design departments, ensuring that processes are aligned with business goals.
  • Calculating and timing processing times: You will be responsible for calculating standard processing times and preparing reports to monitor performance.
  • Continuous Improvement of the Production Process: You will contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement strategies to optimize workflows and product quality.
  • Business Risk Assessment: You will carry out assessments regarding business risks, defining individual and collective protection devices, and ensuring that they function correctly.

The profile we are looking for: The ideal person for this position must possess the following characteristics:
  • Knowledge of the main manufacturing processes: Experience in mechanical processing, welding, electrical assembly and general assembly.
  • Ability to read drawings and electrical schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics to facilitate the implementation of production processes.
  • Knowledge of IT tools: Skills in using office automation software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Goal Orientation: Ability to work independently, focusing on achieving company goals.
  • Attention to quality: Sensitivity to the quality of work and the results achieved, with a strong attitude towards continuous improvement.
  • Passion for Technology: Interest in innovation and technological growth, with a predisposition to propose innovative ideas.
  • English Language Skills: Good knowledge of English to interact with international customers and suppliers.

The following are considered a plus:
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D drawing tools: Experience with technical drawing software and CAD for mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of company procedures: Familiarity with company procedures, which enable you to act effectively and in compliance with standards.
