As a key member of the P-GIS (Primary-Gas Insulated) Industrialization team within the Power Systems organization in North America (NAM), you will be responsible for the development and qualification of assembly and testing processes for new product lines.
Your expertise will ensure the manufacturing feasibility and operational efficiency of our Medium Voltage Offer while adhering to Schneider Electric's Performance System (SPS) principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance product quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specify, implement, and qualify assembly technologies, processes, and testing equipment for production lines.
- Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies, utilizing Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies in collaboration with product design teams.
- Ensure the testability of new product offerings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for assembly processes and testing equipment.
- Develop assembly process line architecture in alignment with SPS and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Optimize industrial performance by promoting digitization, late differentiation of products, and standardization.
- Lead technical trials and tests to validate assembly technologies and support the installation and commissioning of equipment in manufacturing factories.
- Collaborate with suppliers for equipment development and ensure compliance with Schneider global standards.
- Perform risk analysis, FMEA, and detailed technical specifications for assembly processes.
- Drive improvements in energy efficiency and minimize CO2 footprint within manufacturing processes.
- Share technical expertise with local industrialization and manufacturing teams, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Master's degree in mechanical, electronic, or digital engineering, or a Bachelor's degree with substantial experience in production methods and industrialization.
- Strong knowledge of SPS, Lean Manufacturing, and assembly technologies.
- Proven leadership skills to drive transformation and innovation, including risk analysis and decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management processes.
- Curiosity for new technology and Industry 4.0
