Your Primary Responsibilities

  • As a business development member, you will contribute client management activities for our subsidiary EcoAct APAC offer and develop, maintain, evolve, and innovate Sustainability business offers with a focus on advancing and optimizing our service delivery in line with global standards
  • Provide climate risk, opportunity, and adaptation consulting, including work aligned to guidance from the TCFD on aspects of climate risk assessments, disclosures, and scenario analysis, supply chain decarbonization services, nature-based solution.
  • Make sure the clients are aware of and benefit from available SB offers and identify upselling opportunities for other services line
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse cross functional teams to deploy, implement, and support services in EcoStruxure energy and sustainability cloud-based platform - Resource Advisor (RA)
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary, or multi-workstream projects spanning various aspects of SB offer in a collaborative and effective manner. This can involve creating project plans, delegating tasks and deliverables to colleagues, and providing ultimate oversight and review of deliverables
  • Strategy development on varying sustainability topics in focused, detailed workshop sessions with follow on analysis, recommendations, and roadmap / implementation design
  • Advise and develop strategies aligned with existing and emerging standards, such as Science-Based Targets (SBTs), Net-Zero frameworks, Carbon Neutrality, and other science-align or context-driven abatement frameworks
  • Manager Sustainability / ESG information and program design, materiality, and governance
  • Develop and lead program management of varying implementation initiatives as part of clients' journeys including resource efficiency, renewables and the use of environmental commodities
  • Experience and innovation around scope 3 / supplier programs, circularity, and other evolving sustainability topics
  • Fostering delivery excellence, high quality service, use of digital tools, subject matter expertise for sustainability reporting and the ability to assist in new and recurring sustainability services sales
  • Coordinate regional efforts with global SB delivery teams/ program managers

Qualifications

About You

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university with 5+ years of experience with 3+ years of experience in the sustainability or climate change consulting area.
  • A track record of sustainability or climate change consulting work experience, preferably in a consulting firm
  • Experience with climate and decarbonization, ESG and broader sustainability work preferably with industry software experience
  • A "Digital Citizen" with a strong desire to infuse technology solutions in order to evolve effective, quality and timely service delivery; proven software development involvement is preferred
  • Excellent people management skills and experience with an affinity for client-facing activities; personable and engaging
  • Experience, education and/or strong desire to manage people in line with Schneider's values
  • Solid understanding of sustainability industry trends, challenges, opportunities and associated corporate sustainability network (i.e., prospect, client and industry contacts)
  • Ability to listen and understand prospect/customer sustainability "pain points", and address those pains by mapping to sustainable solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and thrive in a team-oriented environment
