Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Manager for Information Technology (Software) to join our Indirect Procurement (IP) Organization in Bangalore, India. This strategic role is part of the Global Software Indirect Procurement Team and requires a strong background in IT software sourcing, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and internal stakeholder relationships. The role will be part of a global team of 9 procurement experts with spend under management of €300M. Members of this team are tasked with leading all major software vendor relationships and any selected candidate will manage the ongoing relationship with a sub-set of these suppliers, manage the source to contract lifecycle of new business requests and manage the relationship with multiple internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business and technical owners to understand organizational needs and develop IT sourcing strategies in coordination with Schneider Electric IT organizations.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop meaningful requirements and ensure quality supplier responses, leveraging market knowledge to achieve optimal outcomes and serve as a business advisor for our internal stakeholders.
• Manage RFx-related competitive sourcing, contract renegotiation/renewal, and supplier selection activities, ensuring optimized solutions aligned with the IT ecosystem.
• Drive negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide software procurement agreements globally, demonstrating robust project management expertise.
• Optimize the software portfolio, deliver productivity targets, and suggest improvements in internal processes and communications to enhance efficiency.
• Manage the full supplier management cycle, including evaluation, referencing, risk assessment, and relationship management.
• Both support and challenge stakeholder requirements creating a balance between Customer Satisfaction and ensuring Schneider can procure Software and IT Services of quality at competitive commercial terms.

• 5+ years of relevant IT strategic sourcing experience with strong negotiation skills and relevant experience leading: contractual and commercial negotiation, supplier management, should-cost analysis, purchasing methods and tools.
• Software procurement subject matter expertise including, but not limited to, understanding of IT mayor vendor landscape, software licensing models, maintenance models, IT contracts terms & conditions, price mechanism, software specific negotiation tactics and a general understanding of IT consulting and implementation services.
• Experience in managing complex procurement source to contract projects and internal stakeholder relationships within a global environment.
• Strong emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills.
• Data driven (comfortable with handling data) and performing data analytics, data visualization and data presentation.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is a plus.
• Knowledge in the sourcing of Artificial Intelligence is desirable but not mandatory.
