Key responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of new projects (electrically)
  • Installation of new product lines (electrical feeds)
  • Carry out facilities based electrical repairs and installations
  • Provide guidance to other/younger members of the maintenance team to help develop their electrical abilities
  • Help other maintenance team members with their tasks where needed and within your competences

Skills and attributes:
  • A safety-first approach to work at all times
  • A desire and willingness to learn new skills and diversify within your role
  • Have good communication skills with peers and non-peers alike
  • Effective problem-solving abilities, demonstrating logical thinking and application of remedies
  • Be able to take a flexible approach to tasks and prioritise your workload to accommodate business needs


Education:
  • Completed a time served apprenticeship scheme
  • Have the BS7671:2018 qualification
  • Be able to prove you experience and competencies
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.


Desirable:

  • Mobile elevated work platform - scissor lift
  • Renewables installation
  • PASMA mobile access towers
