Logistic Quality Engineer (Inbound)

What will you do?

  • Be a strong collaborator on EMS deployment: ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO50001
  • Drive process robustness and build Quality Plans for Inbound Process Inspection
  • Make sure that SPS requirements (6A, 9C and 9D) are met for your area of responsibility (inbound)
  • Quarantine Area Management
  • Block stock animation and below target
  • Drive Supplier Improvement Activities (on logistic quality points)
  • LA Overdue Management
  • PRB / XA Management
  • Responsible (report, analyze, drive improvements) for CS&Q KPIs: IDR, NQC, Blocked Stock

Inbound (DC) and Outbound Logistic Quality
  • Work according to SPS requirements
  • Interact with the WH Operation team and Logistic Engineering to provide the quality assurance tools in the manufacturing unit to assure the product quality and quality system.
  • Establish Inbound quality instructions, provide proper inspection techniques, equipment, inspection criteria and periodically review the inspection characteristics to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Co-ordinate with the Logistic team and units for quality issues to ensure effective corrective/ preventive actions are implemented.
  • Review and analyze process/ part quality issues ( In&External complaints) and co-ordinate with the respective departments for corrective/ preventive and continual improvement.
  • Establish the necessary documents for effective process and quality control.
  • Apply statistical process control techniques to monitor process capability and to fix the process special causes.

Evaluation
  • Design the evaluation in order to find the solution ( Lean Six-Sigma, Kaizen, RCA) for quality issues.

Quality System Audit
  • Conduct internal quality system audits to ensure the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the quality system.
  • Logistic operation audit according to the Quality Plan and related documents.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or Logistics
  • More than 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Logistic Engineering
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience in logistic quality
  • Green Belt is a plus
  • Good communication skills
