  • 250M COGS / 80M Base Costs / 16 million order lines delivered per year

Europe Cluster VP is managing a team to support Logistic activities across Europe (Transport, Order Management France LT, E-Commerce, Network Engineering, Customer Satisfaction, Field Services).

The job position is based in Budapest HUB, with Europe Finance Central Team, but under Logistic Cluster Finance Director responsibility.

The Mission

Drive and optimize the Base Costs of the logistic central functions, by supporting Logistic Directors.

Lead the controlling activities to ensure a proper and timely reporting, build quarterly forecast:
  • Provides business leader support and actionable insights during financial close periods. Reviews recurring financial reporting and presentations. Identifies trends and formulates action plans. Determines financial results and conducts variance analyses. Identifies variance causes and solutions. Collaborates to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
  • Animate all reporting cycles (monthly actual results, forecast, etc.), regular reporting and dashboard with high quality and continuously improving efficiency with the use of digital tools.


What will you do?
Strategist
  • Be a Business Partner to the supporting teams
  • Support transformation initiatives
  • Have the global End to End overview of the flows linked with the entity.
Operator
  • Contribute to Closing activities.
  • Make reconciliation between economic data with Payroll
  • Support target setting, planning and decision making together with business & finance leader.
  • Prepare quarterly Business review, coordinate with each department for data collection and challenge reasonability.
  • Support, identify and implement structural saving plans.
  • Understand trends/levers and risks/opportunities.
  • Analyze variances between Actual and Forecasts.
Catalyst
  • Identify & drive action plan to achieve targets.
  • Work effectively with business leaders and department managers to proactively drive key business initiatives an effectively analyze and report the financial impact on the business.
  • Support decisions on key added values areas.
  • Develop economic awareness within the global entity.


Key Systems you will use:
  • Microsoft Office Tools
  • ERP Systems (SAP, SAP Hana, etc.)
  • Business Intelligence (Tableau etc.)


What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with management.
  • Passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.
  • Organized, strategically focused, detail oriented, and ability to thrive in change and ambiguity with a confidence/conviction to have an opinion and advocate for the right thing to do for the business.
  • Ability to identify issues and risks, analyze and understand underlying causes, and devise appropriate action plans.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. French is a plus.
  • Experience in financial, operational, and business partnering roles
  • Open to travel
  • Experience of working in multi-national teams and/or a virtual team environment would be an advantage.
