Lead Tech Partner-Gulf

The Lead Tech Partner will be responsible for managing and coordinating IT operations and projects across the Gulf Countries offices. This role involves overseeing IT operations and project management across the Cluster. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in virtualization, cloud, networking, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, along with strong skills in IT project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor and Contract Management: Coordinate with internal and external (local/global) vendors for operations as well as IT projects, including ISPs, infrastructure/connectivity, AV, and facility-related systems (CTV, access control, etc.). Monitor and optimize vendor service levels, manage maintenance contracts, and ensure timely renewals for service continuity.
  • Connectivity and Infrastructure Services: Monitor uptime and SLA of data centers and IT rooms, AV, IP telephony, ISP, and WAN/LAN connectivity, as well as facility and infrastructure operation services in coordination with internal/external experts and stakeholders. Proactively monitor and resolve issues utilizing connectivity monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and uptime for Gulf countries.
  • Business Relationship and Project Management: Prepare and present detailed business cases for projects, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and management. Lead IT projects from inception to completion.
  • Employee Experience and KPI Management: Enhance employee experience by monitoring IT support tickets and ensuring timely resolution. Gather feedback to improve service delivery and align IT services with employee needs. Manage critical incidents in coordination with the Critical Incident Management team. Monitor ticketing systems to track performance metrics (KPIs) related to service delivery. Analyze data to identify trends, improve response times, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Asset and Procurement Management: Accountable for maintaining accurate records of connectivity and infrastructure assets. Ensure a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for IT procurements and coordinate with procurement for optimal proposals.
  • Service Delivery and Audit Management: Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure that IT services align with business objectives. Provide insights and support to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Oversee IT internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and addressing findings.
  • Policy Development and Team Support: Plan and develop IT local policies and procedures in alignment with global strategy. Mentor and support team members.
  • IT Dashboards and Budgeting: Maintain projects and other IT dashboards to support the IT management team. Develop and manage IT budgets, identifying cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service quality.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices. Be a technical consultant for management on virtualization, cloud, networking, infrastructure, and cybersecurity .

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT operations / IT Project Management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud, networking, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience in IT project management and budgeting.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with local and global teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, business processes, and SAP is a plus.
