As an R&D Site Security Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing security measures to safeguard the infrastructure, systems, and processes of R&D centres. You will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information and resources.

Your reponsibilities

  • Drive technical excellence and influence the cybersecurity direction for assigned R&D centres.
  • Enhance and enforce cybersecurity architecture across various projects, including platforming and site infrastructure.
  • Expand and maintain R&D security posture for assigned sites, engaging with regional business stakeholders and handling security requests and incidents.
  • Ensure secure execution of R&D functions by enriching knowledge in cybersecurity architecture, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity aspects of product and system architecture within the R&D community.
  • Collaborate closely with local cybersecurity contacts on assigned sites to ensure compliance with Schneider Electric security policies, oversee R&D site security means, and address any potential deficiencies.
  • Support the Incident Response process in collaboration internal cybersecurity teams.
  • Monitor cyber threats, support asset inventory accuracy, and facilitate the timely mitigation of potential cyber vulnerabilities within the R&D perimeter.
  • Contribute to the development of ongoing project to enhance its effectiveness in monitoring the security posture of Schneider Electric sensitive offers on R&D sites globally.
  • Monitor cybersecurity positions within assigned tasks and provide accurate and timely reporting on security baselines and progress.
  • Determine security requirements, evaluate business strategies, research information security standards, and conduct system security and vulnerability analyses.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and collaborate with the internal cybersecurity team to effectively correlate and manage data pertaining to hardware, software, and identity assets within the R&D scope.
  • Effectively using & reusing captured data for cybersecurity metrics, KPIs and dashboards.
  • Provide communication & guidance to R&D teams on assigned R&D sites regarding Schneider Electric cybersecurity policies, capabilities, and procedures.
  • Determine risk and risk mitigation strategies across R&D enterprise.

Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications in cybersecurity or relevant disciplines are a plus.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on R&D site security
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443 etc.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with local and global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in managing security projects and initiatives within complex technical environments.
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and verbal required; other languages are a plus.
