Job Title : WWW Segment Key Account Manager

Mission:

As a Water Wastewater Segment Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for gaining specification, with the end user and the supply chain, leading framework sales processes, presenting our value proposition to customers or at events, and selling Schneider Electric's complete range of technologies and services into the WWW Segment.

You will be experienced at building strong lasting relationships across matrix organizations as you will be the focal point of contact for some of our strategic accounts across the UK&I, but predominantly focussed on the North of the UK.

It is expected that you will be travelling 50%-75% of your time in this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • To position Schneider Electric as a Key Strategic Company in the core challenging areas for the future of the WWW Segment. To become top of mind when considering the future of the WWW Utility business infrastructure.
  • To formulate and implement a detailed account plan for each of the strategic target accounts in your portfolio. Develop and maintain senior C level relationships to enable you to build a strong pipeline of opportunities to exceed your financial targets. Map and support with your extended Team your customers supply chain e.g. Contractors, SI's, Panel builders, OEM's and IT Partners.
  • To identify opportunities to cross sell other Schneider Electric products and services, working closely with your colleagues in all business areas nationally and internationally.
  • Customer & Market Intelligence: Ability to understand the customer needs and to position their needs in the value chain and competitive environment (market and competitors), in order to best promote Schneider Electric in the local market.
  • Customer Platforming / Qualification: Ability to evaluate customer potential and to target customers (penetration, attractiveness, accessibility), in order to best allocate resources, verify opportunities and build customer action/ business plan.
  • Customer Application Knowledge: Ability to understand the customer's technical and application needs, in order to promote the appropriate SE offer that meets the customer requirements.
  • Competition Knowledge: Ability to analyse and understand the choices made by existing or new potential competitors (performance, competitiveness, positioning of offer ranges.)

Skills and attributes:

  • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills & a strong ability in questioning style/technique.
  • 4+ years' experience in sales, leadership, key account management, or relevant experience.
  • Experience with CRM software (preferred Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales revenue targets on a consistent basis.
