Job Function:

  • Develop business with chosen sub-segments (e.g. F&B, Life Sciences, Home & Personal Care ) across India to increase SE's SoW in these sub-segments. Experience in Lifescience Industry is preferred.
  • Develop and implement the strategic partnership with the Global Strategic Accounts (GSAs) / MCTAs / Country Targeted Accounts (CTAs) for CPG segment in India, to saturate SE's SoW and achieve profitable growth for the entire portfolio of Schneider Electric products and services.

Major Responsibilities:

Sub-segment business development (50%-60% of time)
  • Develop a 3-year growth strategy for chosen sub-segment based on market opportunity, key influencers and end users
  • Develop a plan to cover entire sub-segment ecosystem including consultants, process OEMs, contractors, panel builders, system integrators, machine OEMs and End Users

  • Ensure buy-in from internal stakeholders (Prescription team, BU marketing teams, Proximity sales teams) to execute the growth strategy
  • Own growth target for chosen sub-segment and achieve the annual sales KPIs

Strategic account / CTA management (40%-50% of time)
  • Strategic Account / CT Management with national responsibility for the CPG GSAs / MCTAs / CTAs (1 to 3 accounts)
  • Carry annual sales quota for each of the chosen accounts for One SE portfolio as well as for specific businesses.
  • Be the trusted advisor for chosen accounts to provide them solutions within entire Schneider perimeter.
  • Closely work with global Strategic Account Executives for developing and executing annual business plans of GSAs.CTAs in India
  • Be single point of contact for the account within SE India. Work with all the stakeholders within SE (prescription, marketing, Proximity and Targeted sales teams, tendering and ECI) as well as with key stakeholders on the customer side
  • Covering the key supply chain would entail covering key consultants, panel builders, EPCs, machine manufacturers and System Integrators associated with chosen accounts.
  • Be the central point of contact and responsibility for customer problem resolution and satisfaction. Repeat business and customer satisfaction to be key KPIs to measure

Increase SoW in segment specific offers and one SE solution

Educational background, competencies and behavioral aspects:

Essential
  • Engineering degree -electrical/electronics not mechanical (preferably NITs/IITs)
  • Background in pursuing projects (electrical and process control system) for F&B Industry is desirable
  • Turnkey solution sales experience is NOT mandatory. If the person has pursued entire project but sold through packages, it is OK.
  • Ability to structure thoughts and articulate well
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and re-orient self when plans need to be changed
  • Integrity and sincerity
  • Influence without authority
  • Account management
  • Knowledge of CPG industry is desirable (Biscuits, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceuticals, home and personal care)
  • Knowledge of Regulation and compliance, softwares will be an added advantage
