Our team has +320 climate experts, who develop mitigation, adaptation and offset strategies, enabling organizations to use climate as a lever for economic profitability and innovation. EcoAct is a CDP Gold Partner and a founding member of ICROA.

As we are a fast-growing organization, new profiles join us every year in different geographies. We are currently looking for a Junior Sales & Marketing Assistant to join the business development department of EcoAct Ibérica, and thus accompany the growth of this business unit. Reporting to the Business Development Manager of EcoAct Ibérica, you will use the company's resources to support business development executives in the sales process, carry out admin tasks, as well as support in marketing activities.

Responsibilities
  • Sales
  • Support and work hand in hand with the business development executives in the creation and marketing of attractive and value-added offers: creation of presentations, design of sales templates, support in meetings, responses to RFPs...
  • Work and adapt prospect lists obtained by the marketing team to identify leads and generate new opportunities.
  • Identify market trends, competitor landscape, customer needs and new business opportunities.
  • Support in other business development projects, as needed.
  • Admin tasks


  • Lead back-office activities for customers: order management, invoicing, etc. and manage them through platforms when applicable (e.g. Ariba, Adquira...).
  • Be responsible for the correct management of customer contracts.
  • Ensure alignment with business development executives and the finance department.
  • Manage customer registrations as suppliers.


  • Marketing
• Assist in the development and implementation of local MKT campaigns according to global guidelines (e.g. email campaigns).
• Adapt marketing materials published in other geographies to EcoAct Ibérica (e.g. translating and ensuring the quality of the final output)
• Support in writing, editing and proofreading content (blog posts, eBooks, case studies, papers, factsheets, etc.).
• Keep EcoAct Ibérica's LinkedIn account active, reusing materials and creating new ones.
• Identify key annual events and organize attendance (online and offline)
• Ensure the correct organization of events at local level (relationship with suppliers, organization of speakers and materials, payments...)
• Identify potential partners in the sustainability field at a local level.
• Collaborate with the Southern Europe Marketing Manager to implement activities at local level.
Skills
  • Strong interest in sustainability and offsetting.
  • Rigorous and organized.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish are necessary.
  • Previous French knowledge will be valued.
Experience and expertise
  • Experience in sustainable development and/or carbon offsetting.
  • Prior knowledge of Sales Force, Hubspot and LinkedIn desirable.
  • Understanding of the commercial drivers behind corporate climate actions and initiatives (SBT, RE100, carbon neutrality, CDP, TCFD...).
Location
  • The position is based in Barcelona and may require travel in Spain and abroad.
  • EcoAct promotes flexibility and autonomy, and occasional working from home is possible.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Incorporation: Q1 2025
