🏢 Departament and Project description :
Join our dynamic DDH Europe Data Team as a Data Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience in the world of data preparation , ETL processes , and data visualization . This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to the development of data solutions that streamline and optimize data flow and analysis within the team . You will be involved in data preparation tasks , working with SQL databases , supporting the ETL process using industry-leading tools like PowerCenter and Talend, and assisting in data visualization using tools like Tableau.

Additionally , you will familiarize yourself with Agile methodologies , collaborating with cross- functional teams to ensure adherence to established processes and continuously improving the team's delivery of data solutions.
What will you learn?
- Data Preparation : Understand how to prepare data for analysis , ensuring high- quality , clean data for projects .
- SQL and Databases : Gain experience working with SQL databases , running queries , and ensuring data integrity .
- ETL Process : Learn how to use ETL tools like PowerCenter , Talend, and others to extract , transform , and load data.
- Data Visualization : Work with Tableau and other visualization tools to create impactful visualizations and dashboards .
- Agile Methodologies : Understand Agile principles and how they apply to real-world data projects in an international team .
- Collaboration : Collaborate with various teams , ensuring adherence to procedures , processes , and best practices in data engineering.
🔍 Are you who we are looking for?
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field .
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases .
- Interest in data science or engineering, with a desire to learn and grow in the field .
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools such as PowerCenter or Talend is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
- Proactive and with a growth mindset
- Fluent in English, both written and verbally as you will be part of a global team
- To be able to work between 4 and 6 hours a day (Monday to Friday).
- To be able to make an internship agreement with your university or study center for a period of at least 6 months.

💵 Paid internships (depending on the schedule you establish , min. 20 hours and max. 30 hours per week, 700-900 euros / month)

One day of free disposal per month (cumulative)
Possibility to collaborate remotely depending on the position (up to 2 days per week).
Duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension or contracting
