environments deployed within the Schneider Electric Sustainability Business department. This position's duties are in the End User domain with a focus on assuring the first line IT help and assistance for all the users including the support of a variety of software and hardware globally with a focus on Europe.
What you will do:
The IT Support Engineer's day-to-day activities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Providing technical assistance to users with a focus on remote support
- Supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Client OS's
- Technical fault analysis and troubleshooting
- Administration of network user accounts in an Active Directory Environment
- Ongoing system management duties including patch distribution and systems maintenance
- Gathering data and preparing reports
- Undertaking project work and research when required
- Follow-up, troubleshooting and maintenance of data, security or other events
- Provisioning and configuring end-user systems
- Supporting desktop applications, including Microsoft Office
- Developing documentation, including user guides and train new users
- Follow the change control standards so that all changes are within the documented policy
- Receiving work via Helpdesk Systems
- Working with all levels of employee including upper management and temporary employees
What we need from you:
- College/University degree or relevant experience
- Fluent Hungarian and English knowledge is a must
- Knowledge of Windows environment is a must and knowledge of Apple OS is a plus
- General understanding of network components and computer settings
- Experience in user support in a multinational environment is a huge advantage
- Flexibility to handle multiple job functions in a constantly changing environment while maintaining
focus - Ability to work in a virtual or distributed team setting
- Able to conduct yourself in a professional manner, which means
- you will possess sufficient technical abilities as described above
- you will possess great written and oral communication skills in Hungarian AND in English too
- maintain clean and organized work areas
