The Channel Account Manager is responsible for implementing our sales out a commercial strategy to profitably grow the sales of APC by Schneider Electric solutions & professional services portfolio with our resellers in UKI.
The person will directly manage a named customer base from a local perspective as well as work closely with our central organization on the execution of central strategy. This is a target carrying role with the responsibility for the achievement of business revenue & profitability goals within customers.
Responsibilities:
- Grow Schneider Electric market share and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Establish customer intimacy from sales floor to top management.
- Implement regional/global sales, project & service strategies with accounts by working with central & regional team, building and coordinating a Schneider Electric virtual account team to ensure that objectives are met.
- Demonstrate and document an understanding of accounts business strategy, objectives and goals.
- Define & execute quarterly marketing plan and track ROI.
- Drive sales floor animation, training to increase brand visibility with resellers.
- Manage the relationship at account level with customer key technology partners such as Cisco, Dell etc.
- Ensure processes and tools are utilized and kept up to date to provide accurate reporting.
- Provide regular visibility to management on success.
- Consult with other internal and external business teams on best practice.
- Work with analysis and operations teams to measure and drive ROI.
- Work closely with Operations, IT and Marketing to develop and deploy technology and strategy solutions in a matrix organisation.

Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience within channel sales and proven sales success
- Knowledge of AI.
- Proven knowledge of IT reseller landscape with a strong understanding of the customers' business, trends, challenges & compliance.
- Strong business acumen and ability to develop an analytical understanding of a client's business.
- Good understanding of Schneider solutions and offers is a plus.
- Ability to handle complex matters concurrently with both synthetic and analytical skills.
- Excellent listening & communication skills, ability to influence others and to build strong business networks.
- Good judgement, autonomously working style and ability to manage without authority.
- Proactive and open-minded personality with passion to work in international teams.
