Internship in Accounting

• Paid internship, contract of mandate for min. 3 months, min. 30 hours of work/week,
• Warsaw (office at Konstruktorska street),
• hybrid model.

Description of the position:

We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support our Polish Accounting Competency Center team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting processes and contribute to the success of our organization.

Your IMPACT:

• Invoice Verification: Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices.
• Posting PO and Non-PO Invoices: Accurately post purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
• Support in Analysis and Reconciliation: Assist in analyzing and reconciling open positions on suppliers' analytical accounts, including debit positions.
• Data Preparation for Reporting: Prepare data for group reporting in accordance with Schneider Electric's internal requirements, including open positions on accounts, material purchase settlements, tax, debit balances, and other relevant areas.
• Process Documentation: Support in creating, updating, and verifying process documentation and procedures.

Your Profile:

• Student status (preferred fields: accounting, finance and accounting, economics)
• Basic knowledge of accounting
• Good knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel)
• Willingness to work min. 30h per week
• Good organization and ability to prioritize tasks
• Communication skills and analytical thinking
• Independence and responsibility

Languages:

• Very good English
• Hungarian as a nice to have.
