Please note, this is a 2-year Maternity Cover, to begin with.

Your mission:

In alignment with Global International Mobility policies and processes, you will be coordinating international mobility services at country level (Hungary), to support the Schneider Electric International Mobility Center (IMC) with successful transfer of International Assignees, Project-Based Assignees and Permanent International Transfers. You will also be responsible for local implementation of international mobility conditions.

What your tasks will be:
  • Ensure excellent assignee experience and answer employee questions related to local specifics (e.g housing/type of housing, neighborhood, etc.)
  • Manage all aspects of assignments, concerning salary changes, lease agreements, cost monitoring, payroll adjustments and locally required assistance for relocation vendors
  • Payroll implementation & update (gross up, net guaranteed salary, mandatory/voluntary contributions; benefits, taxes, Long-Term Incentive bonuses etc.)
  • Coordination of stakeholders at country level (HRS/Vendors/Finance/Legal/Admin) and supporting HRBP on International Mobility processes and International Mobility System (IMS) questions
  • Take the lead on processes to support Permanent International Transferees integration locally
  • Act as Single Point of Contact for PIT relocating employee and make sure Mobility conditions, local processes are understood
  • Support relocation for PIT (initiation, progress monitoring, invoicing, renewals) and coordinate one-off relocation expenses (flight ticket, temp. accommodation etc)
  • Holding and maintaining individual records, recording this on the internal local HR system
  • With the help of IMC and payroll/tax services to prepare first payroll instructions (including one-off allowances, reimbursement of expenses) and send it to payroll
  • Support the preparation of Home/Host compensation & benefits reports for annual tax return and/or gross up calculation (prepare, provide supporting documents and upload)
  • Update the IM databases (e.g. follow-up file, reporting file, status report with tax vendor) etc.
  • Escalate issues to IMC
  • Learn other, non-Mobility related, local HR Services policies, processes & workflows


What we need from you:
  • 2-3 years of experience in International Mobility processes
  • Fluency in English AND Hungarian is a must
  • Tax reporting, payroll & compliance knowledge is a huge advantage
  • Experience in effectively managing multiple vendors/internal stakeholders
  • Customer focus and continuous improvement mindset
  • Results and service-oriented mindset
  • Clear & concise communication approach
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work fully independently
  • Ability to work productively & collaboratively as an integral part of HR
  • Interest in overall HR processes
