What will you do?
As the Intelligence Device Channel Sales Manager for HVAC Intelligence Devices, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our product lines through various distribution channels. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our channel partners, expanding our market presence, and achieving sales targets.
Channel Partner Management:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, including distributors and dealers, to expand our distribution network.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing channel partners, providing support, training, and resources as needed.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans and sales strategies.

Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Set and achieve sales targets for HVAC intelligence devices within the assigned territory.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive product adoption.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC intelligence device products and technologies.
- Provide product training and technical support to channel partners and their sales teams.
- Ensure that partners have the necessary knowledge and resources to promote and sell our products effectively.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitors, and emerging trends.
- Develop and execute market penetration strategies to capture new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
Reporting and Forecasting:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sales effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical engineering field
- 5+ years related experience in the field of HVAC, Field Devices, or Refrigeration
- Proven experience in HVAC Field Devices (Valves, Actuators, Sensors) sales or a related industry
- Field experience (asset)
- Experience in the construction tender process, contract drawings and specifications
- Excellent customer relations orientation - focus on making Schneider Electric "Easy To Do Business With"
- Experience in generating and presenting business analysis and logic to defend/support business decisions to both internal and external constituents
- A self-starter who can overcome ambiguity to take initiative and lead without authority
- A collaborator who meets, develops and invites co-workers to participate in their work and assists them to achieve their goals
- Ability and desire to travel up to 25% within Canada.
- For Quebec-based candidates functional French is required.
