Mission:
Drive adoption of governance practices and fostering a culture of data driven decision making within Services business.
This role goes beyond maintaining data quality and governance, It also ensures that teams across the organisation embrace and align with new data standards, processes and tools.
Collaborates closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the transition to data first practices delivers measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Governance:
- Establish and maintain data governance processes
- Define and implement standards for data quality, integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data governance initiatives with business goals.

Data Quality Management:
- Conduct regular data quality checks and validation processes for critical data elements.
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure data input accuracy and consistency at the source.
Reporting and Analytics Support:
- Ensure data is structured and governed to meet reporting and analytics needs, enabling timely and informed decision making.
- Collaborate with analytics team to ensure reports and dashboards reflect accurate and actionable insights.
- Promote the use of self-service data tools, empowering teams to leverage data independently.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary liaison between sales,operations teams and business units, translating data into actionable plans and support growing pipeline.
- Work with department leaders to identify pain points and opportunities for improved data usage.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to educate stakeholders on the benefits of data governance and the role they play in driving success.
Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify inefficiencies in current data worksflows and propose process improvements to drive better outcomes.
- Lead the implementation of new tools and technologies, ensuring smooth transitions through training and support.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of data related processes and recommend enhancements.
Adoption:
- Act as a leader to promote data governance initiatives, ensuring key stakeholders buy-in and adoption.
- Develop and execute data capture and data quality improvement plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication strategies and training programs to support data related transformations.
- Partner with leaders to build awareness and demonstrate the value of accurate and consistent data for operational and strategic decision making.
- Identify roadblocks and proactively address challenges through tailored engagement approaches.
Experience:
- Experience in data stewardship, governance, or management roles with a strong focus on driving change.
- Experience leading data transformation or business process improvement.
- Previous experience in a services business or customer centric organisation is a plus.
- Proficiency in data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP or other operational systems.
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau,Power BI - Python skills desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
