Inside Sales Representative - Secure Power

What will you do?

We are seeking a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a project-based sales cycle environment for our Secure Power Western Team.

In this role, you will play a fundamental part in achieving our ambitious revenue growth objectives in various ways.

Internally, you will build strong relationships within Schneider Electric, acting as a liaison between our Market Pricing, Project Coordinators, and Outside Sales teams.

Externally, you will cultivate and support strong relationships with our customer base and distributors to develop vertical leads, formulate strategies, provide exceptional customer service, and assist in driving the sales funnel.

  • Lead generation and prospecting: inbound lead referrals and outbound "cold calls" employing web-based tools
  • Research accounts, identify key players and develop strategies to penetrate the market
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of weekly segment forecasts
  • Utilizing CRM tools for project updates and forecasting
  • Work with a wide range of customers - from IT, electrical distributors, and contractors
  • Quote and provide technical assistance on small projects


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Engineering degree and/or other Technically related degree (preferred)
  • Sense of urgency, ownership, strong collaborative, and communication skills
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Experience with lead generation activities within LinkedIn (specifically Sales Navigator module)
  • Experience in the construction tender process, contract drawings and specifications (asset)
  • Experience in generating and presenting business analysis and logic to defend/support business decisions to both internal and external constituents
  • Strong degree of accuracy in work, excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to travel freely within North America if and when required (infrequently)
