What will you do?
As an Inside Sales Representative, your main role involves engaging with electrical contractors remotely to boost sales and revenue growth.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors; driving sales and revenue growth
- Understand customer needs, promote products and solutions, and identify new business opportunities
- Manage and develop a sales territory with a large customer base: assess market potential, adopt a differentiated approach for clientele, develop and implement sales strategies, forecast market trends, and provide valuable insights
- Convert and develop customers by identifying new business opportunities and engaging appropriate resources to support their growth
- Assist with the development and maintenance of customer/segment forecasts - financial analysis for revenue/gross margin call, participating in product and supply chain buy/build planning
- Assist with the management of the commercial contractor market segment and take customer "ownership" position within the commercial projects team
- Nurture saturated customers in collaboration with field sales, identifying key contacts, hosting online meetings and orchestrating onsite events to maximize reach
- Animate the distributor network, collaborating with local branches to drive business opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing to launch campaigns positioning our solutions, leveraging digital tools and building strong relationships with key individuals through cold calling
- Lead generation and prospecting: inbound lead referrals and outbound "cold calls" employing web-based tools
- Coordinate account support cross-functionally with outside sales, products experts, operations teams, etc.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

- Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or Marketing preferred
- Technical knowledge of electrical distribution products/solutions
- Beginner to 4 years of sales experience with a demonstrated ability to cultivate customer relationships and drive business growth.
- Deep understanding of the electrical distribution/construction market (asset)
- Strong and fearless phone presence
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Experience in working in a matrixed environment and demonstrating the ability to engage the right resources
- Interest for Schneider Electric's sustainability mission
- Willingness to learn about the software industry, electrical distribution, critical power, building automation, and associated services
- Willingness and ability to travel 10-15% within the region

The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $67,200-$100,800 for candidates who are B.C. residents. Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
