Position Summary:

As the Inside Sales Manager, you will lead and inspire our Inside Sales Engineers (located domestic and in Manila) to achieve ambitious sales targets. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and driving the overall performance of the team.

This team is responsible for the sale of all ASCO Products into an assigned territory to both existing and new accounts and providing a customer service level which meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales
  • Lead and manage the inside sales team, providing coaching and support to drive performance for ASCO Products and Services.
  • Increase market share for new products, effectively coordinate sales efforts with management, exhaust all options for urgent orders/quick ship opportunities, Identify product advantages and competitive threats.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and ensure exceptional service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.


Employee Development
  • Train Inside Sales Engineers to develop their skills to progress to the next level (Senior, Field Sales, Project Management, etc.)
  • Active participation in the Sales Development Program (SDP) including interviewing, training, mentoring and evaluation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.


Customer Relationship
  • Professional and proper email/written correspondences, acknowledge customer and other field requests, Be engaging and enthusiastic when speaking with clients, Develop and conduct routine product seminars, Develop action plans for improving assigned accounts.
  • Manage business relationships and identify impactful concerns, Ensure a quick turnaround of customer enquiries and the delivery of services.
  • Develop plans for introducing new products.
  • Coordinate proper inter-ASCO sales and Cross BU involvement.
  • Properly maintain opportunities via company bFO.
  • Resolve customer issues timely and completely and assist in problem solving calls with Inside Sales Team
  • Provide detailed project updates, on time, for monthly sales meeting and work closely with Project Management team.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have time management skills. Required product knowledge includes medium and low voltage electrical distribution and control equipment, specific to ASCO products is a plus. In addition, a good working knowledge of computer operating systems, specifically Windows. Standard business application software experience to include: MS Office, MS Excel knowledge of SE Advantage, bFO and other business systems.

The position is required to be located in the Nashville HUB.
