This position is responsible for managing the US Business ASCO Sales Development Program. The individual in this position will work with the University Relations team to build Schneider Electric's brand on campus and lead in the identification and selection of candidates for the Sales Development Program. Manage the curriculum to ensure key competencies and skills are being taught, ensure a positive on-boarding experience and guide/coach Sales Trainees to successful program completion. In addition, this position will be responsible for the Commercial Organizations Intern Program, to include structure, identification of candidates, placement, on-boarding and evaluation. This person will also assist with the evaluation and development of the overall training and development of ASCO Sales.

This role is responsible for managing key sales operations and planning processes for the Sales Development Program within the organization. Responsibility includes execution of processes that support the strategic direction of the sales and marketing organization in the recruitment and development of talent.

This position will be specifically responsible for the following:

Manage the Sales Development Program for ASCO
  • Accountable for the planning, direction, leadership, communication, and performance of the Sales Development Program and candidates.
  • Develop and implement a process of continual improvement to the strategy, objectives and process for the Sales Development Program.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with key local and national stakeholders to ensure activities and purposing of each candidate is in alignment with the Business Strategy.
  • Facilitate and monitor the candidate's training via education, experience and exposure activities throughout the duration of the training program.
  • Align coaching and mentoring resources to provide each employee with the education, experience, and exposure to ensure successful deployment at completion of the training program.
  • Responsible for ongoing evaluation of the Program and continuous improvement.
  • Sales Development Program classes are centralized in Nashville, TN and conducted twice per year (January/July) for an 14 week duration.


Manage the Intern Program for ASCO Inside Sales
  • Plan and implement the Schneider Electric Partner Intern Program with key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and recruitment planning with Schneider Electric University Relations to enhance the Schneider Brand at the University Relations level.


Manage the Intern's Schneider Electric Experience:

  • Recruiting and On-boarding
  • Meaningful project assignment while driving the Education, Experience, and Exposure of the Intern
  • Develop the Intern pool for retention into the Sales & Professional Development Programs

ASCO Training and Development
  • Understand overall ASCO Training and development needs
  • Asst with the development of Training and Development curriculum
  • Assist with implementation of overall training and development needs.


This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have time management skills. Required product knowledge includes medium and low voltage electrical distribution and control equipment. In addition, a good working knowledge of computer operating systems, specifically Windows. Standard business application software experience to include: MS Office, MS Excel knowledge of SE Advantage and other business systems.
