The 3Phase business as part of Data Center Systems LOB is facing a significant and sustainable growth. The DCS team is expanding in India to meet the business growth demand and has established a state-of-the-art high power 3Phase R&D lab in Bangalore.
We are seeking an experienced R&D Leader to drive innovation and technical excellence within our team. The ideal candidate will lead various programs, foster a culture of innovation, and enhance the technical competency of the R&D team. This role involves driving workshops to encourage patent filings, facilitating paper publications, and active participation in industry forums. Additionally, the R&D Leader will represent the R&D function in collaborative events with other business units, showcasing the team's capabilities and facilitating interactions with leaders from different functions.

Key Responsibilities
• Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the R&D team.
• Lead and drive various R&D programs to meet organizational objectives.
• Develop and enhance the technical competency of the R&D team.
• Organize workshops and initiatives to encourage patent filings and paper publications.
• Actively participate in industry forums and events to promote the organization's R&D activities.
• Represent the R&D function in collaborative events with other business units.
• Organize and showcase the R&D team's capabilities in common events.
• Facilitate interactions with leaders from different functions within the organization.
Qualification
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field, preferably in Electronics or Electrical Engg.
• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Proven experience in leading R&D initiatives and fostering innovation.
• Strong background in driving technical competency development within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and represent R&D functions in cross-functional events.
• Strong influencing, convincing and leadership skills
• Passion for innovation and driving R&D standard practices for continual improvements.
• Ability to engage and collaborate with leaders from different business functions.
