For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $216,400 - $324,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position reports to the Enterprise Sales VP and will lead a team of segment-focused sellers for the for the Public Sector market segment in the United States. Individual will drive profitable account growth and achieve sales targets through effective team leadership. Individual will work closely with the Segment Strategy Leader to execute strategic segment initiatives and provide voice of sales and other customer feedback. They will coach their team to become trusted advisors for customers in assigned accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and market share targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market segment, expanding the customer base and driving customer acquisition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including strategy, marketing and product management) to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor the pipeline using resources like Salesforce and support important opportunities to close key deals.
  • Ensure that targeted accounts within the team are well supported to maximize business.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and other relevant metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Passionate and dynamic professional with the energy and ability to build trust and foster collaboration across a complex matrix environment; Collaborative team-oriented style.

Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of experience in sales.
  • Demonstrable experience in the relevant segment.
  • Advanced experience in Solution Selling, Outcome Based Selling, Customer-Centric Selling with emphasis on C-Suite executive relationship building.
  • People Management Experience with a coaching and collaborative team-oriented leadership style.
  • Strong ability to understand complex requirements, clearly communicate client needs, challenge the client on solutions and close a deal.
  • Knowledge of energy management products and applications and understanding of Schneider Electric offerings is preferred (Competitive offerings knowledge is a plus).
