Description
Hybrid Infrastructure Services team manages and operates compute and storage solutions on-premises and multiple cloud services.
Reporting to the Global Operations lead, the Infrastructure Operations Manager will be leading a team of IT professionals that supports the infrastructure services for the Asia and Pacific Regions, helping them to achieve their goals in an efficient and consistent way.
The infrastructure manager will work closely with the Business Relationship Managers, Delivery managers, PMO, and Governance, ensuring optimal performance of systems, compliance with policies and standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a role focused on leading a regional team of technical experts, aligning them with the global standards and ensuring that they apply their knowledge to help the business to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Infrastructure Operations team, ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth.
• Oversee the maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Monitor system performance and security, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Ensure all security patches and operating system updates/upgrades are carried out in timely manner to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities and threats.
• Maintain a comprehensive and accurate asset inventory ensuring all IT assets are tracked and managed efficiently.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services. Review vendor/technology partner contacts and contracts to ensure timely support and renewals.
• Ensure changes are routed through the change management methodology, by defining the structure, support and direction for change- Anticipates the impact of change and act accordingly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization. Standardize processes across the regions to successfully implement follow the sun model ensuring business continuity across zones.
• Prepare and manage budgets for infrastructure operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Balance the team dedication to tickets, proactive service maintenance activities and projects.
• Track and report KPIs and SLAs to stakeholders. Meet regularly with critical business stakeholders to assess service performance standards are being met.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
• 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• High-level understanding of technical concepts related to virtualization, public cloud, Operating Systems, infrastructure management tools and monitoring.
• High-level understanding of networking concepts.
• Knowledge of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated.
Desirable:
• Experience with ITSM frameworks like ITIL.
• Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, Gartner Methodology).
• Technical writing experience
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in a Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable professional experience.
