As a key member of the P-GIS (Primary-Gas Insulated Switchgear) Industrialization team within the Power Systems organization in North America (NAM), you will ensure the quality of the assembly and testing processes for new product lines.
Your expertise will ensure the manufacturing quality of Schneider Electric Medium Voltage Offers and contribute to improving customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance product quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the robustness and reliability of the industrial process by leading the quality activity within the project team.
- Facilitate the PFMEA (Failure Analysis) completion and regular updates to prevent any customer impact.
- Be a leader and trainer for the project team to deploy Schneider Electric quality fundamentals and best practices.
- Lead potential failure analysis using different methodologies (Ishikawa diagram, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Contribute to specify, implement, and qualify assembly technologies, processes, and testing equipment for production lines.
- Ensure the transfer of knowledge of CTQ/CTP (Critical To Quality/Critical To Process) to the plant team linked to the product and process
- Contribute to assessing the efficiency and reliability of the processes installed in the plant (Capability analysis, calibration, and control plan).
- Define Quality Wall(s) to implement if any process weaknesses are identified.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in industrial quality, mechanical engineering, electronics or a bachelor's degree with substantial experience in production methods and industrialization.
- Strong knowledge of SPS, Lean Manufacturing, and assembly technologies.
- Proven leadership skills to drive transformation and innovation, including risk analysis and decision-making.
- Strong knowledge in quality methodologies (PPAP, Gage R&R, Ishikawa, 5Whys, 6Ms, etc.)
- Manufacturing background appreciated (stamping, bending, welding, dimensional control)
- Quality experience in production environment appreciated.
- Curiosity for new technology and Industry 4.0
