About the role: We are seeking Industrial Methods & Maintenance Manager position based in Benalla. The crucial role is focused on overseeing the industrial & maintenance strategies and processes within the company's Benalla facilities. This role is typically responsible for managing and improving the efficiency of industrial process, optimize manufacturing methods and maintenance operations to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of manufacturing equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of industrial professionals to optimize manufacturing methods and maintenance processes, utilizing skills in SPS, process design, ergonomics, and capacity planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety standards, leveraging simulation tools and investment/cost analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline production workflows, focusing on performance optimization
- Utilize your people management expertise to foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the industrial methods department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial operations, maintenance and methods management, with expertise in SPS, process design, ergonomics, capacity planning, and simulation tools
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a keen eye for investment and cost analysis
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and optimization techniques, with a focus on performance enhancement
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team culture
