What will you do?
Performs a wide variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Install new electrical services
- Perform all electrical and electronic repairs
- Install equipment
- Provide electrical, telephone, and network support for buildings and grounds
- Conduct electrical/electronic preventative maintenance program
- Assemble and wire new computer-controlled test equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and/or make modification to automated control systems hardware & software
What qualifications will make you successful?
Education requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Electrical/ electronics training equivalent to two (2) years post high school required , two (2) year degree preferred
- Training in high, medium, and low voltage; electrical standards and documentation; industrial controls, process controls, and electronics; robotics; and testing equipment.
- Three (3) years experience in industrial electrical/ electronics preferred

Skills necessary
- Ability to understand complex electrical/electronic equipment, circuits, standards, automation & process controls, and robotics systems
- Ability to understand instructions
- Able to work alone and with others
- Able to work safely individually and with others at heights of several fee above floor level to interior ceiling and exterior roof
- Ability to use a computer operating on Windows 7 and 10, as well as Microsoft Office applications and collaborative tools
- Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and make modifications to various PLC programs
- Ability to adjust and troubleshoot vision/camera systems (Cognex In-Sight, Keyence XG-X Vision Terminal, and Keyence IV-Navigator software)
- Experience in operating/programming industrial robots
- Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and make modifications to HMI projects
- Ability to read complex material check lists, blueprints, diagrams, sketches and modify drawings with AutoCAD
