Location: Leeds Plant
Mission : Maintain the design intent and integrity of products assembled in floor shop / warehouse
Key responsibilities:
- Expert specialized in several areas of knowledge regarding production / manufacturing processes in an entity (SPS : process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, cost analysis, performance etc...).
- Strongly contributing to / leading continuous improvement actions
Skills and attributes:
- Implement adaptation on the processes and manufacturing workstation for existing products by improving the industrial performance, using SPS techniques and tools.
- Involved in the specifications and quotation of new line architectures and industrial scenarios in order to meet Safety/Quality/Lead Times and productivity requirements.
- Ensure the deployment of SPS principles and implements Lean/6 Sigma tools.
- Participate in the SIM2 (Shor internal management) of their sector(s) and address necessary actions to quickly remove barriers
- Manage the capacities vs workload balance with the dedicated tools in internal and external lines,
- Optimize Lead Times and assure capacity of the lines.
- Write operator work instructions for training
- Contribute to the development of new products
- Measures and analyses warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions.
- Manages projects to design and optimize warehousing processes.
- Study the feasibility & profitability of investments adapted to the needs.
- Qualifies means and processes, in plant but also at suppliers' location.
- Pilots new productions ramp-up

Education
- Technical Engineering Degree (at least 1-3 year manufacturing experience)
- Lean manufacturing and process development knowledge
- English language on communication level
- Knowledge MS Office & SAP
- Proactive problem resolution skills and result-oriented, structured
