The Indirect Procurement Gulf Procurment manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement of indirect goods and services within the Gulf region. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, ensure quality, and enhance supplier relationships. The leader will collaborate with various stakeholders to align procurement practices with business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to sustainable sourcing initiatives. Additionally, they will analyze market trends, negotiate contracts and accountable for the performances of his perimeter.
Key Responsibiliies:
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and potential risks.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements across procurement processes.
- Digital Transformation Oversight: Maintain and investigate the effectiveness of purchasing tools such as COUPA, SSP-SRM, and SAP MDG to enhance procurement processes. Lead initiatives to integrate digital solutions that streamline operations, improve data accuracy, and facilitate better decision-making. Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices, ensuring that the procurement team leverages these tools effectively to drive efficiency and innovation in indirect procurement activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement aligns with operational requirements.
- Preparation and implementation of annual forecast and reforecast of IP volumes (data provided and validated by Controlling)
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and report on progress to senior management
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations, managing risks associated with suppliers and contracts.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Promote sustainable sourcing practices and incorporate them into procurement strategies.
- Senior Management Engagement: Establish and maintain effective communication with senior management to provide updates on procurement strategies, performance metrics, and market trends. Collaborate with leadership to align procurement initiatives with business goals, ensuring transparency in decision-making and fostering a strategic partnership that supports overall organizational success.

- University graduate : Engineering , Commerce or business administration.
- CIPS Certification is a plus
- 8-10 years in Purchasing Experience specially in Marketing , Travel , HR , Facility and Telecommunication.
- Gulf countries Experience
