Indirect Procurement Business Partner

We are currently seeking an Indirect Procurement Business Partner for the UK&Ireland Zone located in Telford, Coventry, Leeds or Scarborough. The role is within Indirect Procurement organization and will be accountable for working with our key and strategic suppliers, implementing change management initiatives to secure high stakeholder satisfaction, ensuring a competitive advantage to Schneider Electric.

The ideal candidate will have a proven purchasing and change management background, successful project management skills with outstanding results evidencing strategic impact, and high stakeholder satisfaction in the organization. This role will report to Indirect Procurement Cluster Manager of the UK&Ireland Zone.

The role will start as soon as the right candidate has been found and the position is on a permanent basis.

What will you do:
  • The overall objectives consist of reaching the savings target for the zone through project management initiatives. There is a purchasing operating plan outlined, and you will be expected to deliver those projects and identify new initiatives which will boost the productivity performance for UK&Ireland Zone.
  • Collaborate with regional commodity managers, to ensure solutions to be implemented are in line with corporate strategy.
  • Ensure any complaints arising from stakeholders are dealt with effectively and develop/monitor supplier development plans as necessary.
  • Report progress of the country performance, achievements and roadblocks to Indirect Procurement Cluster Manager + Zone CFO
  • Lead organization evolution in collaboration with the business transformation projects.

What will help you to be successful in this role:
  • Experienced in working within Indirect Procurement Supply Chain process from Tendering, Negotiation, Supplier Selection Criteria, Contract Award and Implementation
  • Knowledge of Procure to Pay systems such as Coupa, SAP, and SSP-SRM supplier portals.
  • Understanding of Principles of Responsibility, Antibribery and Ethics.
  • Experience working in a global project/matrix organization with cross cultural experience is highly desired
  • English communication skills, written and oral. Your ability to create a strong Network within and outside your Geographical area of responsibility will be key.
  • Preferable qualification but not mandatory a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business in related field
  • Professional, results and solutions orientated with a solid digital acumen
  • Proven track record of successful Procurement Leadership and/or Transformation leadership
  • Self-driven individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills
