HSE Lead Engineer
This position is accountable for conducting analyses of occupational hazards and health and environmental risks and prescribing the preventive or corrective measures, equipment, training and education necessary to ensure that the services team meets and/or exceeds the requirements of federal, state, and local regulations, codes and/or laws and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
• Lead the H&S function for the site (or other organizational scope) with the assistance and support of the local management team to improve H&S of employees while enhancing Safety culture, in
line with the corporate, Regional, and country H&S Strategy and programs. Lead the deployment of local programs to achieve objectives defined for the site, with the assistance and support of the local leaders.
• Lead training sessions and workshops to all NEAL Services Personnel to promote awareness and compliance among employees regarding health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Help defining and providing induction training for new hires, temps and contractors.
• Develops and publishes safety and environmental programs consistent with regulations and company policy.
• Performs job hazard analysis to identify loss potential of our systems and processes.
• Reviews and interprets loss data to discover causative agents and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Health &Safety regulations and keep up to date with applicable local, national, regional, and international regulations.
• Reviews and revise's location standards, policies and practices as necessary to assure they are current and in concert with company and / or regulatory requirements.
• Assists with maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 program requirements and certification.
• Manage incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Reviews and evaluates technical developments to measure applicability to our processes.
• Trains associates, managers/supervisors and other employees in the areas of general safety and environmental awareness, specific program requirements and specific job requirements.
• Maintains required records, prepares reports and files as necessary to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Provide tender & projects support. Ensure safe execution on site with a specific focus on subcontractors' capabilities.
• Carry out safety site audits on targeted population.
• Participates in audits and inspections of the location to ensure company objectives and regulatory requirements are met.
• Follows safety KPI's (safety strategy implementation, safety audits, safety trainings) regularly and takes appropriate actions if needed.

Close relationship with local safety champion and SERE network
Strong experience on field service & execution safety
Strong communication and execution capabilities
Education & Skills:
§ Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
§ 5-8 Years experience in HSE preferably in a services/sites or construction.
§ NEBOSH IGC certificate is a must (minimum requirement).
§ Certified lead auditor ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
§ Ability to communicate, influence & convince in a complex matrix organization.
§ Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
§ Proficiency in HSE management systems and tools.
