Home & Distribution Sales Manager

Barcelona, Spain

Your mission:

Lead the sales team of Home & Distribution customers (Distributors, Electricians, Home Builders and others) in the assigned region, in accordance with the policies and action plans established in the strategic and operational plans of the division to generate demand and ensure the growth of the overall Schneider Electric business in the assigned customers. Home & Distribution customers work within a large ecosystem of many other customers lead by other divisions, such as contractors, panel builders, specifiers, and others and in this sense, you will have to guarantee the full coordination and collaboration with the rest of sales teams looking after those customers in the region and, when needed, out of it, to ensure overall Schneider Electric strategic and operational intent.

What will you do?

  • To make sure that your team members develop and transform themselves so that we guarantee that we lead the market thanks to leading the transformation of the customers assigned to your team as account owners
  • That development must be based on ensuring the team maximizes its efficiency thanks to using all digital tools and means to carry on their day-by-day job, planning their job prioritizing the important tasks and putting focus on it, that they update their narrative and adopt and deploy the value proposition for the customers under their responsibility. All, evolving their mindset aligning with company mission and values.
  • For that, you must coach your team both in internal meetings and accompanying them to customer visits.
  • To have a deep knowledge of the business and customer ecosystem of your region so that you guarantee that we keep increasing our market share thanks to covering the right customers that will secure that through a dynamic platforming
  • To have a deep knowledge of our competitors (incumbents and new) activities and report it so that we can adapt our plans when needed
  • To ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction under your responsibility, by following up very closely the customer evolution as well as leveraging the conclusions coming out from satisfaction surveys (NSS and CNPS)
  • To support your team in deciding the right pricing and commercial strategy in each deal. All, according to the company Commercial Policy and strategy.
  • To make sure that your team reports the 100% of their commercial activity in the company CRM
  • To ensure that the sales team acts as a hinge between the Sales Force and Product, Solutions & Services activities in order to ensure good customer service.

  • Passion for developing a sales team being successful in their customers' transformation while at the same time achieving the sales growth objectives
  • Agile and flexible
  • Resilience to be able to keep your own and your team's momentum and motivation in a wide variety of circumstances
  • Willing to take your own decisions in the day-by-day business in a highly autonomous manner
  • Preferably, commercial and people leadership experience in a technical and technological environment
